Bombo Quarry was the perfect destination for Berni & Dane’s engagement portraits. This bit of coastline on the south coast is only a couple of hour’s drive from Sydney. Initially we were a little concerned that it would be a wash out – the heavens opened up only minutes before we started shooting. Berni & Dane soldiered on and embraced the ominous clouds and treacherous wind and waves – making for some gorgeously dramatic scenes and lighting. I love exploring new locations and stretching my creative abilities to all kinds of weather, light & terrain – and I really love that Berni & Dane completely trusted me and my vision for these Bombo Quarry engagement portraits.
