Nimbo Fork Lodge is nestled between the Tumut River and Nimbo Creek, in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. It was the obvious choice for Charles & Amanda’s wedding as not far from here, Charles’ family have lived and worked on the land for countless generations. Their Nimbo Fork Lodge wedding was the first ever hosted on the property and will forever go down as one of my favourites.
I will admit, part of my excitement for the day was fuelled by Charles & Amanda’s complete trust in my vision for their photos. They gave me the time and space to explore these new unchartered territories on the property, and (provided we didn’t encounter any snakes!) they were completely willing to come along for the ride. Together, we created something truly magical.
Amanda & Charles brought together a dream team of vendors to make their wedding possible. That included the masterminds at White Top Venues who, essentially out of nothing, created a gorgeous marquee wedding venue along the riverbank. The Yard Studio crafted timeless floral pieces and bouquets that accented the natural tones and hues of the land. And the beats and smooth vocals of husband & wife team Soulganic who kept the party going long into the night. Pair all of that with clean country air and the sounds of crashing river currents and you’ve got yourself a winner.
If raw and rustic is what you’re looking for in a wedding venue, without any hesitation, I would recommend you seriously consider hosting a Nimbo Fork Lodge wedding.
