When Ed first emailed me about their wedding, he and Alex were both living in Dhaka, Bangladesh and working for the UN. Despite the poor internet connection, we arranged to Skype so that he could share their exciting vision for their upcoming celebration. And gosh, it almost sounded too good to be true. Picture this, your friends and family coming from around Australia & the world (I guess those that work for the United Nations tend to have friends in amazing locations!) and making a little farm outside Adelaide home for the weekend. An outdoor farm wedding “festival” practically in the middle of nowhere. The location? Narnu Farm on Hindmarsh Island, about 1.5 hours drive from Adelaide (or a 16 hour drive from Sydney, if you’re crazy like Britt and I were).
Britt & I packed our bags and off we went on our road trip to photograph this insanely awesome wedding. I’ll let the photos take you on the journey from here…
