With nothing but alpaca farms and orchards on either side of the winding road that leads to Cornwallis House, you would be forgiven if you (even for a moment) forgot you were still in Sydney. This majestic house sits on the bank of the Hawkesbury River and turned into the perfect backdrop for Emily & Eduardo’s wedding day. Eduardo’s family flew from Colombia for the occasion, Emily’s family friends flew in from France. The day brought together people from vastly different walks of life to speak and celebrate the common language of love. To set the tone, guests were welcomed with a tantalising homemade punch; a secret recipe that has been in Eduardo’s family for generations.
You could not fault their Cornwallis House wedding, even if you tried. Guests basked in the ethereal glow of the overhanging festoon lights and indulged in some of the best international whiskeys (I’m told it’s a South American custom!). Congratulations again to Emily & Eduardo!
