There were so many beautiful elements to Jess & Raef’s wedding day down in the Southern Highlands that I am totally struggling to find words to describe it all. I think it stems from the fact that I have no idea where to start, and I don’t think words could even do it all justice. You see, Jess & Raef decided to do things a little differently. They injected their heart & soul into creating a day that was personal and intimate. Almost every detail was hand-made by them and their friends. Yes, including Jess’s dress, her bridesmaid’s dresses, the floral arrangements and bouquets, the centrepieces, the bunting, the pinwheels, the great big double doors – almost everything! And yes, you heard me right, Jess stitched her own lace vintage dress. Absolutely incredible.
Jess & Raef’s wedding in the Southern Highlands Peppers Manor House estate, Sutton Forest, was a gorgeous explosion of DIY brilliance, and I feel so honoured to have been a part of it.
In the evening we were blessed with one of the most incredible sunsets ever! It really was the perfect touch to an overall magical day. It really makes me love my job as a southern highlands wedding photographer. Congratulations guys!
